USB devices can work to connect to your computer that you make good pictures with your digital photos? Thu shelves drawing device design with colors and styles, as if the merger itself is the mouse? Or are the machines that work well, they are not good for the processing of complex details of the image in pixels, do the mouse driver is usually readily available? You know how many problems can a mouse trying to give move your hand gently in a particular color in a digital image.

Personally, I have not used a tablet, but I know many graphic designers use, because they have more control over the cursor for fine precision work and better accuracy. And yes, they use the cursor / pointer like a mouse.
Wacom's digital publishing platform with a pen and a mouse. It can be configured for high resolution. I've used for years without the shadow of a problem. If you use Photoshop or other separation of high praphics, pixels can be easily handled with a high zoom ratio. Then the mouse is easier to handle. Sometimes the surface that you do not use the best for the mouse. Experiment with different surfaces or mousepad.
